Public Housing
We serve nearly 6,200 residents with an inventory of approximately 3,016 units. The St. Louis Housing Authority’s portfolio includes 38 family developments, 5 mixed population developments, and 4 senior developments throughout the City of St. Louis.
Section 8
The Section 8 (Housing Choice Voucher) Program is a federally funded, locally administered rental assistance program that helps low-income families, the elderly and the disabled afford decent and safe housing in the private market.
Resident Resources
The Department of Resident Initiatives provides support services to SLHA residents receiving Public Housing or Section 8 (Housing Choice Voucher) assistance.
