The Al Chappelle Community Center, a recreational center operated by the St. Louis Housing Authority, provides access to physical space for education, personal and recreational activities for SLHA residents. The center includes multiple meeting rooms, classrooms for computer training and education, and a multi-purpose room.

Summer Camp & Afterschool Programs “Fun”
Summer camp and afterschool programs are available to SLHA youth for free or low cost. The neighborhood camps and afterschool programs offer fun academic and physical activities for youth in our developments. SLHA youth also receive job readiness training, conflict resolution training, and overall education on healthy living concepts.
Free to public housing youth ages 6 – 14 (space is limited so apply early).
