SLHA is proud to welcome Lisa Liu as our new Circle of Friends (CoF) Practicum Student!
Lisa is a Master of Social Work student at Washington University in St. Louis, originally from Beijing, China. Through her practicum with SLHA, Lisa hopes to strengthen her skills in supporting individuals and groups through therapeutic conversations while learning more about the lived experiences of the individuals served through CoF.
CoF is a social inclusion program that reduces isolation and builds meaningful connections for older adults and individuals with disabilities through relationship-building, peer support, and group engagement. SLHA is proud to be the first CoF chapter in the United States, leading the way in fostering belonging and community.
