The St. Louis Housing Authority remembers with deep admiration and affection a truly special member of our family, Ms. Pamela Bush, whose vibrant spirit, leadership, and generous heart left an indelible mark on our community.
For years, she was the life of the room at Circle of Friends, bringing warmth, quick wit, and a personality you couldn’t help but smile around. She was always stepping up for her neighbors, whether serving on the Parkview Elderly Tenant Association Board or, most recently, being elected as a Resident Commissioner for the SLHA. That election said it all: her community trusted her, respected her, and wanted her leading the way.
Beyond the titles, she was just unforgettable. She had a style completely her own and knew how to make people laugh while still making sure her voice—and her neighbors’ voices—were heard. She showed up with heart, genuine care, and a lot of flair. While her leadership was built on service, her presence was pure joy.
We’re so grateful for the laughter, the wisdom, and the time we got to spend with her. Commissioner Bush leaves a lasting mark on the SLHA community, and we will always remember her.
