SLHA Welcomes New Resident Commissioners to Board

SLHA is pleased to announce the appointment of two new resident commissioners to its seven-member Board of Commissioners, which includes two public housing residents and five members appointed by the Mayor of the City of St. Louis.

Pamela Bush and Andrea Powell bring strong leadership and a deep commitment to resident engagement. Ms. Bush, an active member of the Parkview community, has served on the Tenant Advisory Board, coordinated events for her apartment community, and contributed as a residential lobby monitor and a member of the Circle of Friends. Ms. Powell has served as Treasurer of the West Pine Tenant Advisory Board and has been instrumental in organizing and executing community initiatives, including back-to-school events that benefit families throughout the neighborhood.

Their experience and dedication will help guide SLHA in shaping policies, programs, and initiatives that directly support residents and strengthen communities. SLHA looks forward to their contributions as the agency continues its mission to provide safe, affordable housing and improve the quality of life for all residents.
