Jason Hensley is the St. Louis Housing Authority’s Director of Real Estate Development. He is responsible for overseeing the management and direction of the Development Department.
Jason has an extensive background in planning and economic development with over 20 years of experience. He has held positions in this field for firms in St. Louis, Augusta, GA, and New York. Prior to joining SLHA, Jason was the Residential Development Manager for the Community Development Administration in St. Louis, in which he supervised the release of approximately $6 million dollars in annual HUD funding through a competitive application process. His department directed the rehabilitation and new construction of both for-sale and rental affordable housing projects using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership funding through HUD.
Mr. Hensley holds master’s degrees in both Business Administration and Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from Saint Louis University.
