Public Housing Waiting List Opening Soon

Are you and your family in need of affordable housing? The St. Louis Housing Authority (SLHA) provides housing assistance to low-income families, seniors, persons with disabilities, and persons with special needs in mixed-income apartment communities and public housing developments throughout St. Louis City.

We are pleased to announce the waiting lists for the following public housing developments will open at 8:00 a.m. CST, Monday, June 5, 2023, and will close at 11:59 p.m. CST, Sunday, June 25, 2023. This waiting list is only for Public Housing. The Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) wait list is closed until further notice.

Badenfest / Badenhaus – Studio (0) and One (1) bedroom

Cambridge Heights – Two (2), Three (3), and Four (4) bedrooms

Euclid Plaza Apartments – Studio (0) and One (1) bedroom

James House Apartments – Studio (0), One (1) bedroom, and Two (2) bedrooms

King Louis Square – Three (3) bedrooms

North Sarah Apartments – One (1), Two (2), and Three (3) bedrooms

Parkview Apartments – Studio (0) and One (1) bedroom

All applications must be submitted through SLHA’s online application portal.  You may also apply via the self-service kiosks in the lobby of our Central Office located at 3520 Page Boulevard.

If you are a person with a disability in need of a reasonable accommodation to complete your application, contact the Public Housing Department at 314-286-4330 or email phwaitlist@slha.org. Applicants without internet access may make an appointment to complete an application at the Site Based Management Office of their preferred Public Housing location.

New applications will not be accepted after 11:59 p.m., Sunday, June 25, 2023.  Interested applicants wishing to submit an application after the deadline will be required to wait until for a future opening.

SLHA’s Senior Building Eligibility

Our senior building waiting list accepts applications on an ongoing basis. To be eligible for senior housing, you or your co-head (e.g., spouse, domestic partner), and all other household members must be at least 62 years of age.
